I am still trying to figure out how this all works, Heidi. I am on blogspot, which chucks me into blogger, which puts me in Google+. I cannot figure out the cirles and I think all is battling at the moment to get the site to work the way they want. We are all blogging here and there and hither, whether anyone sees it, who knows, I just stumbled on yours as I hit Home, because I am looking for home to post a picture. LOL
I'm so torn Heidi, the more time I spend here, the more I like it. it some how seems more 'grown up, than the other sites I've joined, I feel as if I can do more with this site than I can with the other sites (except Multiply) and for these reasons, I'm getting to like it more and more here. But on the down side, like you say, the 'social networking' side of things seems a lot more difficult. I'm hanging in there because I'm hoping the site visiting, comments, etc will pick up once every one has settled
Marianne, I'm getting used to it here too, but if you sign into your dashboard and look under reading list you will see a whole list of the blogs you are following That is one of the things I do like here. The list of blog pages is much better and easier to read than it is on many sites. Hope this helps
Actually blogger is a blog site and it is connected to Google+ and that I do think might be a social site. I read most posts on Multiply for now. It does take some getting used to and decide what we will make of it. I am trying out Blogster and My boomer place also to see if they fit
Not a lot of people visit my page either, Heidi, but I think that might change once Multiply is history. There are still a lot of folks over there posting blogs and pictures and things. I wouldn't worry about it.
I have posted a couple of things, already on here, but no one seems to visit, give it time, when Multiply is gone for real *sobs* we will see who our real "friends" are , they are the ones who will look for you and find you, wherever, or as I did a while ago : "you want to keep in touch, send me your emails. Surprising how few did." Just saying.

You need to put your blogger URL up on multiply nobody knows where you are, I don't know how you have your comment boxes set up but they are not integrated with the page and you cant reply to commnts we make as far as I can see, so there is no interaction you need to set your comment boxes as "Embedded";)
I try to follow as many of the ex multiply blogs as I can but quite often, when I click on the person expecting to go to their site and be able to add them to my 'following' list, I just get to a google page which tells me the person isn't sharing information. I've tried a couple of times to click on to Marriannes site, but I just get blocked by a google front page.......I don't know how to get around that.
This site seems more for blogging than socializing, which we had both on ply. I'm on blogster for socializing. It's kind of glitchy at first, but it's pretty good. A lot of my friends other than the photo group are over there.
Don't worry - soon more and more people will come to Blogger / Google +.... it also takes quite some time to get used to the layout, etc. There does not seem to be a "home" page either in which one sees all the unread blogs in one go, that takes some getting used to. I've been a member here since May 2012, and have already established quite a few Circles of Interest, including Photography, etc. We've added each other on both Blogger and Google+ and I will be popping in occasionally and comment. Alas I am nowhere near a computer until December, and am reliant on my iPhone and a 3G connection, which is rare here in the Bush.....
I have been posting on blogger for awhile and don't get a lot of comments either. I am still trying to figure out google+ but am not wanting to take the time.
Heidi, I am following your blog in Google Reader; and then I guess I am allowed to post comments by signing in with my Google account. We shall see right now whether or not that actually works.

Give it time.
You can set up for page for replies.
